YoungWilliams Wins Knoxville, Tennessee Contract
06.27.2013
The State of Tennessee Department of Human Services recently awarded YoungWilliams a contract to operate the Knox County Child Support Office serving the 6th Judicial District in Knoxville, Tennessee. This entails provision of legal, case management, and customer services for over 20,000 child support cases. Project Manager Keith Baker brings twenty years child support and thirteen years direct Tennessee experience to this project, and he is well-known to the State. He has managed projects in Tennessee’s 20th, 25th, 27th, and 28th Judicial Districts and knows the Tennessee program and automated system.
The Knoxville office utilizes a state-of-the-art document imaging and managing system for storing, filing, and routing child support documents. This facilitates case management and allows YoungWilliams workers to have necessary information at their fingertips.
This project represents YoungWilliams’ first contract with the State of Tennessee. Bob Johnson, President of YoungWilliams Operations, was pleased to oversee another smooth transition from a previous vendor to YoungWilliams. “The project start-up occurred without any delay or disruptions to client services. We are committed to operating this project smoothly over the course of our contract, and to provide the outstanding level of services Tennessee families expect and deserve,” remarked Johnson.
YoungWilliams began its child support operations in 1993 and has since grown to one of the largest providers of child support services in the country. Unlike other vendors providing child support services, YoungWilliams’ only line of business is child support. This allows the company to devote all resources and efforts toward a singular government program that makes a real difference in the lives of children.
