We are thrilled to announce that YoungWilliams is featured in the Spring 2024 issue of Technology Record, highlighting our innovative partnership with Microsoft where we are implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for SNAP and Child Support. At YoungWilliams, we constantly strive to push the boundaries of technology to enhance customer service and accessibility. Our collaboration with Microsoft has allowed us to take a significant step forward in achieving this goal.

For the past year, our dedicated team members from across the YoungWilliams organization have been working hard to develop “Priya,” our new AI digital assistant. One of the most exciting aspects of Priya is its ability to provide the same level of service as an unlimited pool of trained customer service representatives. Priya is poised to transform government programs like SNAP and Child Support in ways previously thought impossible. By harnessing the power of AI, we can streamline processes, reduce wait times, and ensure individuals receive the support they need more efficiently than ever before.

Our CEO, Rob Wells, describes Priya as “almost human-like in the way it handles SNAP and Child Support customer service interactions with empathy, patience, and the ability to carry on a full and coherent conversation in real-time.”

In many ways, Priya represents the beginning of our efforts to harness the power of AI technology to drive positive change in social services programs.

To learn more about our collaboration with Microsoft and the development of Priya, be sure to check out the Spring 2024 issue of Technology Record, “Transforming health and social delivery” (on page 128).
