New Contracts

YoungWilliams President Rob Wells announced a new contract with the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) to provide child support services for over 19,000 cases in five judicial districts. YoungWilliams will establish offices in the cities of Cheyenne, Laramie, Evanston, Green River, Lander, and Douglas. The transition from the current private vendor to YoungWilliams will be complete by the contract start date of July 1, 2008.

This is YoungWilliams’ second contract with the Wyoming DFS. The first was a consulting engagement to review the State’s paternity establishment program. The project was completed in 2007.

“Wyoming has an excellent child support program, and we are pleased to be selected as one of Wyoming’s partners for service delivery.”  President Wells added, “Our primary objectives are to provide an outstanding level of service to customers and to collaborate with the State and local management teams and other key stakeholders to help Wyoming achieve new heights in performance.” The federal government measures state program performance in five areas: paternity establishment, support order establishment, current support collections, percentage of cases with arrearage payments, and cost effectiveness. Wyoming’s child support enforcement program is among the top performing programs in the nation.

As an attorney, Mr. Wells understands judicially-based child support systems such as Wyoming’s and plans to reach out to the legal community in a number of ways. YoungWilliams has a tradition of sponsoring legal internships, law school scholarships, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminars, and other opportunities that support the involvement of the local bar and judiciary in the child support program.

YoungWilliams provides a wide range of operational, call center, and consulting services in partnership with state and local government child support agencies. The company operates child support offices in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Tennessee, and customer service call centers in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Virginia.

The exclusive focus on the Title IV-D (child support) program has allowed YoungWilliams to attract and nurture strong child support expertise within the company. Its corporate leadership, project management, and local project teams have deep roots in the child support community and are passionate about the program.
