YoungWilliams Opens New North Carolina Child Support Office

After a competitive bidding process, the County Commission of Onslow, North Carolina, awarded a five-year contract to YoungWilliams to operate the County’s child support program. YoungWilliams has built out office space In Jacksonville and opened its doors to the public on July 1, 2014. The office has over 8,500 cases with annual collections exceeding $21 Million.
YoungWilliams’ North Carolina Manager, Carla West, will oversee this project and supervise the local project manager. Carla has over 18 years’ experience with the child support enforcement program, and has served on the board of the North Carolina Child Support Enforcement Association. She is currently president of the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Enforcement Association (ERICSA), a national child support organization dedicated to advocacy, training, and communication. “I am truly excited about this new opportunity, “ West stated. “We are looking forward to working with Onslow families. We are establishing a family-friendly office with a children’s play area and a resource center for parents. The resource center will be equipped with informational materials about community-based services, and a computer to access selected websites for child support information, family resources, job searches and other related activities.”
YoungWilliams has been a partner to North Carolina counties since 2004, and currently provides child support services for over 27,000 cases in 12 North Carolina counties: Beaufort, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Date, Gates, Hertford, New Hanover Pasquotank, Perquimans, and Union.
