North Carolina Recognizes YoungWilliams’ Achievements

At the annual North Carolina Child Support Conference held in Asheville in August, the offices YoungWilliams operates were recognized for their numerous achievements throughout state fiscal year (SFY) ended June 30, 2015.

The Onslow County Program received the North Carolina Child Support Council’s Award for Excellence in Innovation and Collaboration. In his keynote speech, Jack Rogers, Deputy Director of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services congratulated Onslow County for its first place ranking among the State’s 100 county child support programs for total collections per full time employee.  Onslow County collected over $21,926,199, attaining a ratio of $1,154,010 in collections per employee.  YoungWilliams has operated this office since July 1, 2014.

The State of North Carolina recognized the work of the following YoungWilliams offices with Certificates of Achievement:

  • Chowan, Gates, New Hanover, Pasquotank, Perquimans, and Union Counties –for meeting or exceeding goals in all incentive and self-assessment areas; 
  • Pasquotank County – for the State’s largest enforcement collection on a case ($215, 000); and
  • Camden County – for the largest increase in the percent of current support.

YoungWilliams has provided child support services for North Carolina counties since 2004, when the company began managing the New Hanover County program.  The firm now contracts with 12 North Carolina Counties, managing 35,000 cases.  During SFY 2015, YoungWilliams collected nearly $73 million for North Carolina families.
