Story Behind the Numbers: Millennials in the Child Support Program

Millennials are on the verge of passing the Baby Boomers as the country’s largest adult generation. This report uses data from the Federal Case Registry and Debtor File and survey data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Center for Health Statistics to analyze the role of the millennials in the child support program. The report reaches conclusions regarding the marital, workforce, and poverty status of millennial parents as compared to their Generation X counterparts.
