Congratulations (Promotions)

Mississippi-based YoungWilliams is pleased to announce that Jeff Ball has joined the company as Project Manager for the newly-awarded El Paso County Colorado child support project. In this capacity, Jeff will oversee all aspects of the County’s child support program.  Jeff is a highly regarded leader in the national child support enforcement program.  His experience includes five years with the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) as a Senior Advisor to the Commissioner and Branch Chief, where he led OCSE’s welfare reform efforts, and served as an Official Observer to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws’ Uniform Interstate Family Support Act Drafting Committee.  He also oversaw numerous workgroups dealing with technical assistance, interstate issues, income withholding, welfare reform, and paternity.

Spanning twenty-three years, Jeff’s child support career encompasses a term as Assistant Director of the American Bar Association’s Child Support Project, two years as general counsel and deputy director to the U.S. Commission on Interstate Child Support, an eight-year tenure as Vice President of the Maximus Child Support Division, and most recently, as Owner and Sr. Consultant of his firm, Support Consulting, LLC.  Ball’s extensive background in consulting has equipped him with deep insights into child support program operations, and proven strategies for addressing program challenges.

“Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge to YoungWilliams,” stated President Rob Wells.  “We are excited to have him on board.  His well-rounded background in the public and private sectors, and his legal credentials make him an ideal addition to our company.  We pride ourselves on the high caliber of our project managers.”

Ball possesses a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a B.A. in History, graduating Cum Laude from Ohio’s Miami University.  He has served as an officer and President of the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Association (ERICSA), and is the recipient of its 2010 Felix Infausto Award for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the organization.
