New Contracts

The State of Tennessee awarded a third consecutive contract to YoungWilliams to operate the child support program for the 6th Judicial District (Knox County in Eastern Tennessee.) The YoungWilliams office, located in Knoxville, provides services for approximately 25,000 child support cases. The office, headed by veteran project manager, Keith Baker, has an outstanding performance record, leading the other urban Tennessee counties in paternity establishment, order establishment, and collections of current support.

“We have made significant progress toward our goals; however there is more work to be done. Families have been hit hard by the economy, and are depending on us to collect their child support,” observed President of Operations, Bob Johnson. “We plan to add predictive modeling technology to our tool box, which will enable our case managers to penetrate deeper into the caseload, and help non-paying parents get back on track.”

The new technology, coupled with YoungWilliams’ quality control software, Y-Trac, is expected to improve results for families. In addition to the Knoxville office, YoungWilliams also manages the child support programs for the 27th and 29th Tennessee Judicial Districts. YoungWilliams has thirty-five offices in eleven states, and provides child support services ranging from operating full service offices to state disbursement units to call centers.
