New Contracts

New Hanover County has again chosen YoungWilliams to operate its child support enforcement program.  Now in its third consecutive contract period, YoungWilliams has been the County’s child support partner since 2004.  From its Wilmington, North Carolina office, YoungWilliams provides the full range of IV-D services to 7,600 families in its caseload.

The firm collaborated with the County’s Department of Social Services to establish the New Hanover County Partnership for Fatherhood, a local program designed to promote involvement of separated fathers in their children’s lives.  Staff members are also involved in a number of other family-oriented organizations.

Project Manager Alyssa Harrell has overseen this office for the past 4 years, and has over 17 years’ experience in the child support program.  Harrell stated, “We are proud to be a part of the New Hanover community. We have forged strong relationships with our clients and the families we serve, and look forward to continuing our partnership.”

YoungWilliams currently has 12 full service child support projects in North Carolina, serving a consortium of 9 counties in the northeastern part of the State, as well as Union, Beaufort, and New Hanover counties.
